DENTAL HEALTH WEEK – 100 Oral Health Kits donated
Today marks the start of Dental Health Week (DHW). This annual campaign focuses on the importance of taking steps to care for your teeth and gums to help keep your teeth and smile for life.
Many take their toothbrush and paste for granted but for some the daily ritual of being able to brush your teeth is a luxury.
With links between diseases in the mouth and diseases in the body, a healthy smile is so important for health, well-being and for the confidence to give a smile to help spread happiness.
These oral health kits will be a welcome addition for the agencies registered to collect food and personal hygiene products for the local people they support.
Thank you to the Australian Dental Association Goulburn Valley Branch (ADAGV) for the donation and thank you to Goulburn Valley Dental for coordinating the donation and volunteering their time to pack the kits.
